The NFL announced the opening week schedule. Up first, my defending Super Bowl Champs. The Steelers open on Thursday night against... the Dolphins? The NFL could have choosen from Pittsburgh home team opponents like the Bengals, Ravens, Broncos, or a few other that would have been more intriguing (in terms of rivilary) than Miami. The only redeeming quality of this match-up is that Daunte Culpepper will presumably make his regular season debut with the 'Fins. I really wish Cincinatti could have been there to see us raise our SB XL banner. That would have been special.

New feature: I will periodically put a "Gary's Super Duper Sports/Entertaiment Quiz Stumper Spectacular" question for everyone to guess (if you don't know who Gary is, don't ask and don't worry. It's not relevant). Please be honest and don't use the net to find the answer.

GSDS/EQSS: Name all the Pittsburgh Steelers players that have had their number retired by the team.

Yeah, that's a pretty strange matchup.

Your question is so Gary.

I don't know the answer to that, but I have a feeling Jamie is right... I doubt there are many players with their number retired.  I also wanted to comment, I think Jamie must check your blog every day.
